Telašćica Nature Park is one of the most beautiful places you could visit on the Croatian coast.

1. Beautiful landscape

Telašćica bay is one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the Adriatic. It is home to 25 stunning beaches, 6 islets and is surrounded by 13 islands.

2. Where opposites cohabit

This nature park is a place of natural contrasts – its quiet and serene beaches vs. its steep cliffs, as well as oak forests vs. bare rock.

3. An abundance of life

This nature park has a diverse underwater world with over 300 species: with bottlenose dolphins, loggerhead sea turtles, 20 species of fish, colonies of coral, sponges and bivalves.

4. Lush vegetation

Evergreen forests are just a part of the flora you can enjoy in Telašćica, the total number of plant life exceeds 500 species.

5. Ancient remains

During your walk in the park, you can stumble upon the remains of buildings and pre-Romanesque churches.

6. Plenty to do

You can rent a kayak and catamarans, hike Telašćica’s trails, go cycling or diving.

7. Wonderful weather

Telašćica gets more than 2500 sunny hours a year and the average annual temperature is over 16°C. This means Telašćica is the perfect place to visit even during the off-season.

8. Nearness of more nature parks

If you can’t get enough of nature, you can visit three more national parks that are nearby: NP Kornati, NP Paklenica and NP Krka, and two nature parks PP Vransko jezero i PP Velebit. If you’re an avid climber, you should visit Paklenica.

9. Salt lake

Salt lake “Mir” has a higher salt concentration than the sea and its mud is known for medicinal and healing properties.
